Potential Dresses for a Fall Black-Tie Gala

After nearly five years at a small community- and youth-focused nonprofit that didn’t have fancy events, I’m now working at an organization that throws one of the best-known balls in Washington, DC.

The theater and museum I worked at before my last role both hosted annual black-tie galas, so I’m familiar with the pressure and excitement that come to a head on the night. Because of that, I know what’s needed in a gown:

Pockets!

Alas, Rent the Runway doesn’t have a “pockets” filter, but three of the dresses I hearted for my October event do, in fact, have pockets. They’re the three in the middle, below; the two on the sides don’t, which means realistically they’re probably out of the running despite being incredibly elegant. Could someone invite me to a black-tie event at which I’ll be a guest, please, and not staff and therefore not in need of pockets so I can wear the red or black options?

Which of the three in the middle should I wear? I’d love your input!
