Weekly Meal Plan: 11/3-11/8

With the election on the 5th, this is going to be a weird week emotionally and gastronomically. I’m going to be making a labor-intensive stew on Tuesday to try to distract myself in the afternoon. We probably won’t have results by dinner time on Wednesday, so I’m scheduling in leftovers - I have to be in the office that day so can’t make anything elaborate and will just need to feed the kids when we get home - and Robbie has ice skating on Thursday evening, which always means McDonalds.

Jon’s going out of town for a work trip on Wednesday until late Friday and I’ll probably be at my wits’ end by Friday night given ::gestures around vaguely:: everything. Luckily, my synagogue has its monthly Young Families’ Shabbat on the 8th, and we’ll go to that for community and food.
