Weekly Meal Plan: 4/7-4/12

 

Another classic week with one exciting addition: the kids’ Granny is coming to visit! She arrives on Tuesday evening, and we have a tradition of getting Thai food as a late dinner her first night in town. Otherwise, here’s what’s going on: Jon will be out on Monday night (after taking the kids to and from swimming) and in the office on Tuesday and Thursday ; I’ll be in the office Monday through Thursday and am seeing friends on Sunday and Thursday evening. I’m going to make two lemon ricotta pound cakes later today, one to bring to tonight’s gathering and the other to celebrate a colleague at work tomorrow.

Sunday:

spaghetti with veggie-filled venison bolognese

Monday:

tofu curry with brown rice

Tuesday:

kids: dino nuggets, veggies, and mini naans
take-out Thai

Wednesday:

baked farro with Abbot’s Butcher chorizo, peas, corn, and peppers.

Thursday:

Friday:

pork tenderloin, smashed potatoes, and asparagus
