Weekly Meal Plan: 8/18-23

 

We’re back from two weeks in Martha’s Vineyard! We did a lot of cooking on vacation, but it’s nice to be in our own space with our own kitchen things again.

We made a pilgrimage to Costco this morning and will do a supermarket run this afternoon. I’m proud of the adjustments we’ve made over the last year to use up leftovers and cut down on food waste, and in the year ahead I want to focus on tightening up our monthly grocery bill. It’s not something I’ve tracked in a long time, but I think I’ll start now!

I’m out with friends on Wednesday night and my mom will babysit wshen Jon and I go out on Friday evening.

Sunday:

Costco chicken taco tray

Monday:

pesto pasta with peas, spinach, and bacon

Tuesday:

leftovers

Wednesday:

kids: meatballs with red sauce over rice with sliced peppers

Thursday:

pasta bake with red sauce and sausage

Friday:

kids: leftovers and sliced veggies
