Weekly Meal Plan: 10/9-10/13

For my own breakfasts, I’ll have smoothies (fruit, kale and spinach, oat milk, and protein powder) and/or raisin bran muffins my mom made us. On Monday night, I roasted a sheet pan of veggies and hardboiled a bunch of eggs that I can have for lunch through the week.

This week, I’ll be going in to my office on Thursday; Jon will go into his on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Monday:

leftover chicken pot pie (pre-made from Costco) and bagged Caesar salad

Tuesday:

adults: forage after putting the kids to bed
kids: out to dinner between school/daycare and a vigil for Israel at a local synagogue

Wednesday:

adults: butternut squash ravioli (from Costco) with kale pesto, Brussels sprouts, and chestnuts
kids: Claire likes the kale pesto but Robbie will refuse it - he only likes Kirkland-brand pesto from Costco - and they’ll have frozen meatballs, too

Thursday:

adults: date night
kids: gyros (from Trader Joe’s) with mini naan, tzatziki, cucumbers, and peppers

Friday:

Shabbat: chicken Parmesan (with frozen breaded chicken tenders from Costco and jarred marinara sauce) and bagged salad
