Spring/Summer Make-up

When I was in my early 30s - I can’t remember exactly how old, but let’s pretend for the sake of this story that I do - I went to Blue Mercury to replace a product I’d used and loved for years: Laura Mercier’s Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer. I asked one of the women who worked there to help me find the correct shade, and she frowned slightly. After querying my full make-up routine, she pursed her lips thoughtfully and then asked me how old I was.
