Workwear IRL: Do the Twist

Thanks to my mother, I’ve always been a fan of Lands’ End. Their dresses have been a staple in my closet for decades; the jersey ones have just enough weight and structure to be suitable for work without sacrificing comfort.

A favorite for the last year has been this 3/4-length sleeve dress with a twist at the waist and a slight a-line skirt , giving the narrowest part of my body some nice definition while allowing a bit of forgiveness over my hips and thighs. It can be dressed up with heels or down with ballet flats, professionalized with the addition of a blazer, and accented with almost any style of jewelry.

It’s not available on their website anymore but I found a similar style there plus a few others elsewhere that I really like…
